    Pat salmon dry and season with salt and pepper.

    Sear salmon skin-side down in a hot lightly oiled pan for 4 minutes, then flip and cook 2-3 minutes more.

  3. 3Warm rice

    Warm rice until steaming.

  4. 4Prep toppings

    Slice avocado and dice cucumber while the salmon rests.

  5. 5Assemble

    Add rice to a bowl, top with salmon, avocado, cucumber, and soy sauce.
