Sausage Egg Rice Bowl

  1. 1Cook the base

    Heat 1 cup of rice in a skillet with a little oil over medium-high until golden and crispy on the outside, about 4-5 minutes.

  2. 2Cook the protein

    Add 2 links of chicken sausage and cook, breaking up as needed, until browned and cooked through.

  3. 3Cook the eggs

    Push everything to the side of the pan. Crack 2 eggs in the cleared space and cook to your preference — scrambled, fried, whatever you like.

  4. 4Add cheese

    Scatter 1/4 cup of shredded cheese over the hot mix so it melts.

  5. 5Serve it

    Transfer to a bowl and eat right away.
