Turkey Cheddar Rice Bowl

  1. 1Heat the protein

    Warm 1/2 cup of ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat until hot, about 3 minutes.

  2. 2Warm the grain

    If your rice is pre-cooked, microwave 1 cup of rice with a splash of water for 90 seconds. If cooking from scratch, follow the package.

  3. 3Cook the veg

    Steam or microwave 1 cup of broccoli until just tender, about 3-4 minutes. You want it bright, not mushy.

  4. 4Build the bowl

    Rice goes in first, then the protein on top, then the vegetable alongside.

  5. 5Add the cheese

    Scatter 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese over the top while everything's still warm so it melts slightly.
