  1. 1Heat the protein

    Warm 1/2 cup of lean ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until hot, about 3 minutes.

  2. 2Cook the veg

    Steam or microwave 2 cups of lettuce until just tender, about 3-4 minutes. You want it bright, not mushy.

  3. 3Build the bowl

    Grain goes in first, then the protein on top, then the vegetable alongside.

  4. 4Sauce it

    Drizzle 2 tbsp of burger sauce over everything and toss or leave layered — your call.

  5. 5Add the cheese

    Scatter 1/4 cup of shredded cheese over the top while everything's still warm so it melts slightly.
