Buffalo Chicken Mac Bowl

  1. 1Cook the pasta

    Boil mac and cheese in well-salted water until al dente — about 1 minute less than the package says. Drain and save a splash of pasta water.

  2. 2Cook the protein

    Season 1 of chicken breast and cook in a hot pan until done, then slice or chop.

  3. 3Add the sauce

    Pour 2 tbsp of buffalo sauce into the pan and let it heat through for 1-2 minutes.

  4. 4Combine everything

    Toss the drained pasta into the sauce and stir to coat. Add a splash of pasta water if it looks tight.

  5. 5Finish with cheese

    Grate or sprinkle 1 cup of mac and cheese on top and serve hot.
